Completing Your Time Card
Step 1: Sign-Up
- Check your email inbox for a message from ADP. This email contains instructions for signing up.
- If you haven't received the email, contact ADP at 1-866-532-9499.
- Click on the "Sign Up Now" button in the email to create your user ID and password.
Step 2: Confirmation and Access:
- After creating your user ID and password, you'll receive an email from Security Services confirming your account setup.
- This email will include a link to access the ADP Workforce Now site.
- Use the provided link to enter your user ID and password and access the ADP homepage.
Step 3: Navigation on ADP Homepage:
- The ADP homepage is divided into various sections:
- "Things to do" in the top right corner displays notifications such as vacation request approvals.
- A calendar is available for requesting time off.
- Your initials are provided for signing out.
- On the left-hand side, you'll find the "Home" button, "Resource" tab, and "Myself" tab.
- Click on the "Myself" tab to access your time card.
Step 4: Accessing Your Time Card:
- Under the "Myself" tab, select "My Time Card."
- Your time card will be displayed, showing your work days for the month.
Step 5: Completing Your Time Card:
- For salaried employees, complete the time card only for days with exceptions (e.g., vacation or sick days).
- For hourly employees, complete the time card for each workday.
- Enter your hours worked or indicate absences in the "In/Out" field.
- If necessary, specify reasons for absences in the "Pay Code Reason" field.
- Ensure accuracy in selecting the appropriate department and pay code.
Step 7: Requesting Time Off:
- To request time off, click on the calendar icon.
- Select the "Request Time Off" button.
- Specify the date range and reason for your absence.
- Review the request details and submit for manager approval.
Step 8: Editing or Cancelling Time Off Requests:
- If needed, edit or cancel time off requests by accessing the calendar.
- Double-click on the requested dates to make changes.
- Provide comments if canceling or editing requests.
Step 9: Communicate Changes to Your Manager:
- If adjustments are required after manager submission to payroll, inform your manager promptly.
- Work with your manager to ensure timely completion of your time card according to payroll deadlines.
