Use the Activity Log to monitor student activity
Choose Course Administration -> Reports -> Logs. You can view activity by the student or by the date.
Also, did you know that, if you click on the student's picture, their profile will come up and, in the menu on the left, you have the option to log in as that student. This is helpful if you want to see what they see.
